Role: Business Development - Distribution network within Automotive for Diagnostic Equipment to Garages
Hours: Mon-Fri 9am - 5:30pm (field-based, so flexible)
Salary: £30k-£35k Basic DOE + Bonus

Overview:
We are looking for an individual to develop our Client's product within various distribution channels within the UK (long-term, this could grow to covering Europe and further afield). Perhaps you've experience as a Business Development Manager or Key Account Manager, the ability to reach out to new business and set meetings, and to spin many plates.
You'll receive full training on the products, and will working closely with the Sales Director.
The role:
Selling our Client's vehicle diagnostic equipment into Distributors to the Automotive Industry, such as Garage Equipment Suppliers and Car Parts Factors. Arranging appointments either at the Client's offices or within the Company's Head Office, building long-standing relationships and working closely with the distributor to effectively sell the product to the end-user.
Requirements:
Great communication skills, both written and verbal;
Highly motivated and able to juggle a busy workload;
Not afraid to push yourself out of your comfort zone and handle difficult conversations;
Experience in a Business Development role within the Automotive Industry, preferably with contacts within various Distribution Channels within the sector;
Willing to listen and learn, following guidance on how to succeed in this new position - yet not afraid to ask if you require help or support;
A full UK driving licence is essential, preferably clean of points/ convictions.
You will be required to travel throughout the region and some overnight stays may be required during the week.
This will be a nationwide role and therefore in theory the successful individual could be based anywhere within the UK. However, it would be most beneficial for you to be fairly central with a good road network close, preferably within the Midlands, and within a fairly close distance of the Head Office in Oxfordshire would be a bonus.
