Bodyshop Technician (Multi Skilled)

Multi-Skilled Bodyshop Technician required for Accident Repair Centre in Basildon, Essex
Full-Time, Permanent
Salary in the region of £40-45,000 depending on experience: but please get in touch to discuss your experience and expectations

The role:

Reporting on vehicle structure and paintwork;
Removal of vehicle components, fluids and gases;
Repair of damaged panels including filler work ready for paint preparation;
Replacement of new bolted panels;
Preparation of repaired areas in readiness for application of topcoat;
Application of topcoat;
Flat and polish;
Paperwork - identifying and  documenting all components, materials and consumables used;
Safeguard customers' vehicle whilst being repaired;
Working to PAs125 / Health & Safety processes;
Sign-off QC sheet.

Requirements:

Ideally circa. 5 years experience in a Paint / Panel / MET Technician role;
Full UK driving licence;
ATA qualifications (beneficial, not essential);
Team player;
Positive attitude towards work;
Willingness to continue training and gaining relevant qualifications.
