Storesman required for an independent dealer in Buckinghamshire

^{The Storesman at our independent garage plays a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our automotive repair and maintenance services. Responsible for managing inventory, organizing parts and supplies, and assisting technicians, the Storesman is a key member of our team. Below is a detailed job description for the position:}

^{Responsibilities:}

• Inventory Management:
• ^{Maintain accurate records of all automotive parts, tools, and supplies.}
• ^{Monitor inventory levels and reorder items as needed to ensure adequate stock.}
• ^{Conduct regular stock checks and audits to identify discrepancies and prevent shortages.}
• ^{Organizing Parts and Supplies:}
• ^{Receive incoming shipments of parts and supplies, verifying contents against purchase orders.}
• ^{Organize and label parts and supplies for easy identification and retrieval.}
• ^{Ensure that all items are stored safely and securely to prevent damage or loss.}
• ^{Issuing Parts and Supplies:}
• ^{Fulfill internal requests for parts and supplies from technicians and other staff members.}
• ^{Track the issuance of parts and supplies to ensure accuracy and accountability.}
• ^{Assist with locating and retrieving items as needed to support workflow.}
• ^{Supporting Technicians:}
• ^{Work closely with technicians to understand their needs and preferences for parts and supplies.}
• ^{Provide timely assistance in locating and delivering parts required for vehicle repairs and maintenance.}
• ^{Help technicians maintain a clean and organized workspace by promptly returning unused items to inventory.}
• ^{Safety and Compliance:}
• ^{Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.}
• ^{Follow proper procedures for handling and storing hazardous materials, such as oils and chemicals.}
• ^{Comply with relevant regulations and industry standards related to inventory management and workplace safety.}
