Role: MET Technician

Location: Littlehampton, West Sussex

Hours: Full Time, 40 hours a week

Pay:  £45k - £55k Basic (Depending on Experience) + Bonus

An excellent opportunity has arisen for an MET Technician to join one of our longstanding clients, a brilliant Accident Repair Centre in Littlehampton, West Sussex.

The Role:

• Strip and refit mechanical, electrical, and trim components
• Remove and store vehicle parts, fluids, and gases safely and in line with job specifications
• Re-assemble vehicles post-repair ensuring correct alignment and quality finish
• Carry out 4-wheel alignment and mechanical repairs as requiredIdentify and report faults or defects during the repair process
• Conduct safety and quality checks, including warning light diagnostics and beam settings
• Ensure all repairs follow the correct manufacturer repair methods (e.g., e-scribe)
• Log torque settings and safety-critical component checks
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment, using protective covers in all vehicles
• Follow health & safety and PAS125 procedures
• Complete documentation and job cards accurately

The Requirements:

• Minimum 5 years’ experience in MET or vehicle body repairs
• Full UK Driving Licence
• Strong mechanical, suspension, and electrical system knowledge
• Experience using computerised alignment systems
• Air conditioning and encapsulated glass qualifications (preferred)
• ATA qualifications (beneficial but not essential)
• Team-oriented with a proactive and flexible attitude
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to high standards
