Vehicle Technician

Motor Vehicle Technician required for franchised car dealership in Newbury, Berkshire.

Working hours are 8am to 5pm – Monday to Friday and one in five Saturdays 8am to 1pm

Salary: Up to £36,000. + Team bonus based on productivity/efficiency and overtime. OTE £45,000

We have an opportunity for a fully qualified Vehicle Technician / Mechanic to join our Client's Main Dealer workshop in Newbury. The dealership forms part of an established, Main dealer group who can offer ongoing manufacturer training and career opportunities.

We're looking for a Technician with a successful track record, an enthusiastic and positive individual who aims to excel in their career and deliver the best possible service to customers. You'll need to have at least 12 months' experience working within a light vehicle workshop (preferably main dealer but this is not essential), hold a full driving licence, be qualified with NVQ Level 3 or equivalent, and live within reasonable commute of Newbury. You'll be joining a team of 5 Technicians and 1 Apprentice. 

The salary is dependent upon level of experience, manufacturer training and qualifications - but our client offers a competitive salary package and will offer a place within a busy, fast-paced workshop.
